Long-term high humidity operation in substation distribution room leads to moisture absorption of insulating parts, it even develop into an accident of switch cabinet because of the insulation degradation. Now it has become a major threaten to the safety and stability of power supply equipment. Lanhe Electric overcomes the limitation of traditional local humidity improvement methods, and on the basis of in-depth study of condensation mechanism, combines with modern intelligent control technology, develops an intelligent integrated dehumidification system for LH100 substation. The dehumidification system makes a complete set of dehumidification strategy for the transformer substation. According to the internal relations of ambient temperature, saturated steam pressure, relative humidity, dew point, etc. and scientific analysis of data collected by temperature and humidity transmitter array, it effectively control the environmental humidity of transformer room, avoid insulation failure of electrical equipment due to the condensation caused by the high humidity, thus, it guarantee a safe operation for the electrical equipment.


Basic technical principles:


Intelligent integrated dehumidification system in LH100 substation adopts digital transmitter array of temperature and humidity to monitor the indoor, cable trench and outdoor average temperature and the humidity of the distribution room. Based on the data, air moisture content ( water vapor partial pressure ) and dew point temperature are calculated by the algorithm recommended by the World Meteorological Organization and the national military standard GJB1172.1. The above-mentioned basic data and calculation data are the basis for the power distribution and control unit to control each execution equipment ( including dehumidifier, cable trench fan, cabinet top and bus bridge fan, ventilation fan or accident fan, electric window, etc. ).

According to its internal core control strategy, the power distribution and control unit control the starting, stopping or opening and closing of each executing equipment, and add a rapid cooling criterion as an additional independent condition for the starting related equipment to avoid condensation in the cabinet caused by excessive temperature difference between day and night.  LH100 also designed an interface to communicate with the background computer to facilitate remote transmission and sharing of data.
